How To Earn $1000 Online Fast!

Almost every day, I get at least one email or phone call from a subscriber or potential client who is in a financial bind. Often they need $1000 or more for rent or car payments within the next few days. They’re looking for me to give them a quick-fix solution, so that they can then focus on building a solid online business.

I “shudder when I hear someone say that they need to do something “now” because I’ve seen so many people in similar situations make very bad decisions. Often when they implemented poorly conceived plans it ended up costing them much more in the long run.

Here are the top suggestions that I offer to Internet marketers who find themselves in the above described situation:

1) Write an ebook and offer resale rights to it. Currently Internet marketers love resale rights to ebooks. If you can put together a complete package that includes a website that’s even better.

Writing an ebook is no harder than writing a high school research paper and then converting it to PDF format. If you are really stuck, you could get a ghost writer to do it for you, but that means you need capital upfront.

Creating a website is no harder than visiting any of hundreds of template sites (which offer many free templates) and choosing a suitable template. Then you edit the template in your favorite html editor.

If you do offer the website with the ebook package then you also need to come up with the copy. The absolute easiest way to do this (for me) is to pretend I’m explaining, to someone sitting across from me, what problem(s) the ebook solves and why they need it. Then you go back and add things such as a guarantee, bonuses, and perhaps testimonials. To get the testimonials, offer free copies of the ebook to online associates in exchange for feedback. If the feedback they give you is negative, then that tells you where you need to fix the ebook.

This won’t give you the best copy in the world but will give you something that can be reworked several times. After the ebook package is created, you can offer it to your list if you have one. If not, you can offer it prominently on your website. Make the offer irresistible. You can also offer it through online forums, and community-type sites, where they allow you to advertise. In a real pinch, you can offer it through Ebay auctions, but realize that Ebay buyers are generally looking for a bargain.

2) Create, or have created, a piece of software and offer resale rights to it. Practically everything said about marketing the ebook package applies to a software package. You can go to numerous sites such as Elance.com and RentACoder.com and place a description of the software you want created. “Techies” registered at these sites then bid on your job. You review their bids, their references and portfolios, and then choose one to do the job.

There are techniques and intricacies to hiring out work through these sites. I won’t explain them here because there are countless articles on the topic that you can find through the search engines. Read several of these articles, and you should be equipped with the do’s and don’ts of hiring out work through “lance-type” sites.

3) Offer your services. If you’ve been online for any amount of time, and been seriously learning the skills required, then you should have marketable talents. Many online marketers do the tasks that they do best and outsource the rest. If you make it known that you are available to do some of these chores, you should be able find jobs.

One problem that I’ve noticed in this area is that someone will offer to pass along work to another person (as a favor to get them out of a bind), and the person gaining the work will quote outrageous fees. Don’t do that! The person offering the work will just go find someone who charges reasonable fees.

The are numerous Elance-type sites where you can go to list your availability and/or to see what jobs may be listed. You can also post your availability on certain discussion forums and community-type sites.

4) Sell an affiliate product using article marketing. This is one of my favorite selling techniques, and one that I teach often to “serious content marketers” such as members of Content Desk where I sometimes help conduct webinars. It’s at, appropriately enough : http://MassiveCashFromArticles.com

My system, which should be easy for you to adopt, is to first identify a product that’s really needed and wanted by your marketplace. It should already be selling well. Identify the problems that this product solves. Then you write an article about the PROBLEMS. Emphasize why these are really serious problems that your reader really wants to solve. Then you show why the affiliate product that you are marketing is the perfect solution. This is a proven formula!

After you’ve written the article, you can distribute it to article directories and publishers using article submission software. You can also use article submission services which may be a little more expensive (but can also be more convenient). The software that I use, submits to over 700 sites, and comes as part of my membership in Content Desk.

You can also submit your article directly to the publishers of your favorite ezines. Use a personal approach with each one. Explain that you are a longtime subscriber, and why you feel that this article is perfect for their ezine. Explain how their readers would benefit from the article and therefore be further endeared to the ezine. By explaining the “what’s in it for them and their readers” you increase the chances of them using your article dramatically.

5) Run a sale from your site of specially selected product(s). If you have a steady flow of repeat visitors, this can solve your cash flow problem very quickly. What’s critical here is that you make absolutely certain that the product is fresh, in-demand, and properly priced.

After identifying a product that you plan to sell, do a search on Ebay to confirm it’s not being sold dirt-cheap over there. Then do a search on your favorite search engine for the product, and visit a few sites selling the product to see what they’re selling it for. Unless it’s your own product, or brand new, you should be able to find it in the search engines. If you see a lot of sites giving the product away, that a sign that you should seek another product (one that’s not being devalued).

Find, or have created, a good product, place it on its own page on your site (with NOTHING else), and then direct traffic to that page. Then use standard copywriting techniques to sell the product. Prove to them that your price is better than they can find it elsewhere. Prove to them that the product will solve their problems. The easiest way to do this is with testimonials. Ask them for the order, and make it as easy as possible to place the order.

Any of the above five techniques will enable you to generate some quick revenue in a pinch. I’ve used 1, 2 and 4 numerous times with fantastic results, although I wasn’t in a pinch. The reason that I don’t use number 3 is that I don’t like trading time for money, which is what you’re doing when you offer a service. Your earnings are limited by the amount of time that you can offer. I rarely use number 5 but when I have used it, it’s worked well too.

The final thing you have to do after deciding to use any of the above techniques is to DO it. Make a plan and then take massive action. Don’t over-analyze. That’s what stops too many people from extricating themselves from that crisis!

Being some of the most powerful articles on the Internet, How-to posts provide information to the readers on how to fix certain problems. How-to questions are searched on search engines millions of times each day, related to thousands of different topics. Whether it’s how to cook food or how to buy a flower, there are tons of different niches you can tap into with how-to articles.

What’s even better about these types of articles is that they work well with targeted ad programs such as Google AdWords and Yahoo Publisher. People are likely to click these advertisements because they’re wanting to know more about their question. Having targeted advertising with how-to articles can lead to quite a bit of money going into your pocket.

One other thing about how-tos and reviews is the fact that they’re timeless. These articles can be searched over and over again for years and years. For example: the search words “how to buy a car” is relevant not only in the present, but in the future as well. These timeless articles will allow the potential for these to be profitable for longer periods of time in comparison to posts about trends and news.

Sales Pages

Obviously, sales pages have the best potential to make money because their central purpose is to, well, sell a product. By setting up a sales page post, whether it be on a blog or on a static site, is your best friend when it comes to getting your product sold.

Sales pages don’t build themselves. They require quite a bit of testing to determine what words will trigger a person’s mind and get them to purchase the product. There needs to be a build up to your final pitch of the product. This may include testimonials, product information, and of course, reasons why someone should purchase your product. It’s a lot of work, so it may be in your best interest to get a professional to write the sales page for you.

Is iPhone 4’s 'Retina' display really better than your eyes? – Yahoo! News

As blogger excitement reaches a fever pitch over the iPhone 4 — now available for pre-order, if you can get the website to work — confusion and rage are also running wild. Why? Because of Steve Jobs’ claim that the iPhone 4’s new “Retina” display offers higher resolution than the human eye does.

The mathapalooza began a few days ago when PC World interviewed Raymond Soneira, who has a PhD in theoretical physics and runs a firm that makes high-end software to test computer displays. Soneira explained that it’s hard to test Jobs’ claims because we see pixels only when we’re close enough to the screen. Sit 20 feet away from your laptop or TV and no one can see the pixels — so at 20 feet, it is “better” than your eye. But sit 6 inches away and you’ll certainly see them — so at 6 inches, it is not. “Better” is subjective and dependent on distance.

And that’s the mystery of the iPhone 4: Jobs said that at a foot, the 326 pixels per inch that the phone offers are better than the eye can parse. Soneira said that’s not the case: At 12 inches, based on the “angular measurement” of how the eye actually works (click PC World’s story for the full math, if you dare), the eye can really manage 477 pixels per inch. Not until you’re 18 inches away from the screen will the pixels entirely disappear.

Case closed? Not quite. The folks at Discover magazine busted out their protractors and reached a different conclusion, that Jobs was right. How so? Because, as Discover notes, the numbers used by Soneira assume you have perfect vision. Discover knocked the estimates down considerably, saying that if you have “typical” vision, you will not see pixels on the iPhone 4 when held 12 inches from your face.

End of discussion? Certainly not. I pay a lot of money to my optometrist to ensure I have near-perfect vision, but the quality of glasses prescriptions, like eyes themselves, will vary widely. Even the definition of “perfect” is subjective, as any Lasik enthusiast can tell you. The bottom line is that some people are going to see the pixels on the new iPhone, and some are not. I also doubt that users will be holding rulers next to their faces as they look at their cell phones’ screen (although I know I will, just to see) to hold Jobs to his word.

And what if, in the end, he’s lying after all? Well, it’s not like anyone’s going to throw lye in his eyes for his transgression.

If you follow the steps below, and try your absolute BEST not to get distracted by other “shiny things” along the way, your site will not only gain a significant rise in traffic and readers (which means you make money online, especially in the long-term), but your blog/website will be well on it’s way to becoming the next “authority” in your online field of choice.

STEP 1: Select a Field You’re Interested In

The bottom line is, if you’re going the “authority website” route, it’s going to be hard to stay persistent with your efforts if you’re not interested in the topic you’re trying to pursue. A passion for your topic is highly recommended.

STEP 2: Stick to a Consistent, Do-Able Posting Schedule

Notice how I said “do-able”? Make sure you don’t burn yourself out. Posting to your blog should only encompass about 20% of your efforts, so make sure you have a consistent schedule that you can keep up with. I prefer two posts a week (Monday and Thursdays).

STEP 3: Guest Post to Established Blogs *Regularly*

Guest posting is simply contacting the owner of another blog in your field and asking if you can contribute an article to their blog. They get high quality content, and you get a back-link to your blog.

If you do this to established blogs in your niche on a regular basis (I recommend weekly for best results, especially in the beginning), the benefits are almost unsurpassable. Not only do you get great links, but you normally get a surge in traffic and an increased likelihood of being approved as a guest blogger on that same blog in the future.

STEP 4: Social Bookmark Your Posts After Publishing

I personally find this process annoying, but I hear it’s good for getting initial back-links to your posts and getting them “out there” in the beginning.

The *least* annoying way to take advantage of this is to use IMAutomator.com’s free service. It’s very easy and takes minimal time away from my other tasks, so I got in the habit of using it for my new blog posts (and my guest posts I submit to other blogs).

STEP 5: Take Advantage of Social Networks

You can do this whatever way you like, as long as you are not over-promoting your stuff or spamming in any way. I honestly don’t put much weight on this, as the only social network I use for my online business is Twitter. I simply post a few tips a day (at the most), make some retweets, reply to a few others’ tweets, and announce my blog posts.

That usually does it for me as far as social networking goes. You can obviously put more emphasis on this and leverage it however you want, but don’t stress out about it too much.

STEP 6: BUILD YOUR EMAIL LIST

I can’t stress this enough. If you want your blog or authority site to go anywhere anytime soon, especially amongst the growing competition of other websites out there, you need to be building your list to keep your visitors COMING BACK.

Your list serves as your blog’s “insurance” because it’s like taking a piece of your niche and saving it for yourself. But you have to treat your list right.

Not only will you increase your sales (as long as you treat your list right by providing them value on a regular basis, and the occasional promotion of a high quality product).

I recommend creating a short, free report that directly pertains to the subject matter of your blog. It doesn’t have to be long, but it has to be useful and convenient. Just offer the report in exchange for a name and email address and you’ll build your list as you drive traffic to your blog.

I personally use a squeeze page and drive traffic to it using article marketing and forum participation. In fact, all of my article marketing and forum participation efforts are ultimately to drive traffic to my squeeze pages. The high quality list subscribers will end up on my blog eventually anyway.

Guest blogging and social networking drives traffic to my actual blog.

STEP 7: STICK WITH IT***

All the advice I just gave you is useless if you give up eventually. Most people can do it… but only for a few weeks. Some people a few months but the fact is, MOST people give up on the whole thing before they’re even able to see results.

HOWEVER, if you do take action on all 7 steps (or 6) on a regular basis, week-in and week-out, you’ll start seeing results faster than you think! Stick with it for 6 months and you’ll be surprised. Stick it out for ANOTHER 6 months and you’ll be absolutely AMAZED.

The bottom line is: whether you decide to go the “authority blog/website” route (as I just described), or use another method when it comes to making money online, you HAVE to STICK WITH IT… and if you can manage that, just about anything will work (granted it’s a legitimate method).

Make Money Online By Blogging – How To Get Started

Explore the many ways to make money online by blogging with or without a blog, get paid to write reviews of products and services, and earn extra cash by writing articles, content and blogging for Google AdSense blog networks.

1. An overview on paid blogging
There are 3 main flavours of paid blogging - your own blog on your own domain and webhost, using a blog on a free blog service such as Blogger and creating a blog on a blog network. The work is the same. You get paid to write or blog about a product, service or anything required by a customer.

The amount paid varies greatly from US$1 to US$200 or more for about 50 to 200 words depending on advertiser requirement. The more popular or higher traffic your blog has, the greater your reach and therefore the higher you are paid. Terms vary in that you may be asked to write a single post from time to time or you may be contracted to blog a minimum of 1 post a day for a few weeks for a specified sum.

2. Blog requirements
Usually, there are certain requirements that your blog will have to meet before being accepted for assignments. Requirements vary with each paid-to-blog network. Generally though, paid-to-blog networks do not accept new blogs with little content and no readership base, so you will need to spend the first few weeks or months writing posts regularly to build up a sizeable amount of content.

You could buy articles or use free articles from various sources of course, but ultimately you will have to write your own unique content to keep readers coming back. It’s a lot of hard work.

Other requirements could be that your blog has to be several months old, be indexed by Google, be of a certain pagerank or have a certain amount of traffic. Blog content and writing standard also affect approval. If you do not own a blog, you may be asked to provide some writing samples for evaluation.

3. Using a free blog on a blogging service
Creating a free blog on Blogger, Live Journal, WordPress and other free blogging services is how most bloggers will start off. These sites are fine for personal blogs but if you have plans to monetize your blog and use it as a means to provide some form of viable revenue, i

t is best to register your own domain and host your own blog on a web host.

This is because you will have complete control over how you want to monetize your blog and have your own entity and identity eg. yourblog.com instead of yourblog.blogspot.com. Also, some paid-to-blog networks do not accept blogs created on a free blogging service.

4. Creating a blog on a blog network
If you do not own a blog, you can still earn from blogging. Some blog networks require you to create a blog hosted on their network with their revenue earned directly from advertisers, syndication or other means. Sites: Blogchex, Gather, DigitalJournal.

Other blog networks engage you as their freelance professional blogger where you have to commit to making regular posts. In such cases, the content you create could belong to the blog network and you will not be able to use your content anywhere else. These have very high journalistic standards and are difficult to get accepted. Sites: 451press, Blog Republic, Weblogsinc.

5. Posting on Google AdSense blog networks
Other blog networks who use Google’s AdSense programme to generate revenue are less restrictive in terms of topics to write about and tend to be less demanding when it comes to content quality and the reuse of content at other sites.

Bloggers are paid by Google AdSense from the number of clicks received on ads embedded in their posts. Therefore you must first sign up for Google’s AdSense programme before joining these blog networks. You also get paid for referrals. Payouts may seem too little to bother with but if you are active in many networks, the amounts add up. Sites: WriteNiche, WritingUp, Hubpages, Squidoo, Xoomba.

6. Setting up your own blog on your own domain

MPs allowed their evident irritation at Nick Clegg’s new status to overwhelm them. The deputy prime minister handled it rather well.

They really do hate him. Personally, I’ve always had a lot of time for disrespect and abuse as a sporting pursuit. But the anger directed at Nick Clegg did not have the kind of wit or aloofness to make it enjoyable. It seemed merely childlike.

It began almost as soon as he stood for his first speech at the despatch box, after an interminably lengthy amendment by Jack Straw. The noise came quickly. Shouts, objections, jeers, laughter – Clegg was always on the receiving end of these during PMQs. Now they come from fewer mouths but are expressed more forcefully.

The first time he gave way it was to be told to get off his “high horse”. He was then interrupted by a point of order, demanding he stop referring to the opposition as ‘you’ rather than ‘honourable member’ – an accurate but tedious interruption.

“Once again, really picking up the important things in the debate,” Clegg hit back. It was at about this point that the public gallery filled up with members of the armed forces, clearly on some sort of day trip. Perhaps Labour’s rage had now reached the point where it might set off a coup. We haven’t had one of those for some time and personally I’d have enjoyed the front row seat.

By the time Clegg announced the formation of a committee on House of Lords reform, the anger simply boiled over. The SNP and Plaid were livid they were not invited. Labour was livid it was no longer the one making laws. Clegg attempted to stop giving way, making up for earlier in the statement, when he was rather too generous for those of us hoping to make it home for tea time. Opponents got around it by demanding entirely inappropriate points of order.

The first, asking why only the three main parties had been invited to join, was merely ridiculous. The second, on the need for a vote to decide the membership of Commons committees, was simply wrong. The third saw me lose interest and I must confess to having forgotten it. Clegg grew a little irritated. “What was customary in the last 13 years was that an announcement like this would have been made in the press,” he said, to considerable support from the MPs behind him. Angus Robertson of the SNP began to rock back and forth in his seat shouting: “Shocking, shocking, shocking.”

So how did Clegg actually do? Well, not bad really. He was gentlemanly enough, and he managed not to lose his temper despite the provocation on offer. He played a wise card in branding many of Labour’s objections to matters such as constituency boundaries and the 55% dissolution benchmark as “outright opposition driven by a paranoid sense that everything is targeted at them”.

But Clegg’s main quality today was merely that he has time on his side. Questioned about the details of the 55% proposal, he still has the justified response to fall back on that the government has only been in power for three weeks. People are looking into Straw’s objections, he informed the shadow justice secretary.

But the time factor works the other way round as well. Labour still looks saggy and aged. Every phrase it utters seems to contrast unfavourably with its record in power. At one point Clegg was asked to look into problems around the electoral register as a matter of urgency. He was able to laugh that off with a reminder that Labour had failed to do anything of the sort in 13 years.

There are many opposition arguments to which that is currently an excellent answer. But it won’t last forever.

Let’s take the case of bloggingmix.com. For my blog, I have decided to write about blogging for bloggers. But bloggers can still be further subdivided into beginners, intermediate, and experts. I’ve finally decided to write for beginners and intermediate bloggers because I believe I know them better. I have been in the stage of starting my own blog and developing it so I know the needs and wants of beginners and intermediate bloggers.

What are you suppose to write? Quality Information for Blog Readers

What do you think will happen to bloggingmix.com if I start to write about my favorite color or when I blog about my friend’s friend’s dog? I’m sure, by the time I know it, my blog readers found a better blog that will provide them information about blogging. This is where the idea of continuity (consistency), one of the 3Cs of blogging, comes in. Details about continuity will be discussed thoroughly in the succeeding articles.

People go on-line to search the Internet for Quality Information, information that they need, relevant and useful to them. If you don’t have it, expect that there will be few people who will be visiting your blog. Or you might not have any visitors at all. So what are you suppose to write? The answer is obvious. You should write about something that your readers need and want. It should not be a bunch of useless article but rather informative, relevant and useful to them. Try to do this in your blog and see how amazing quality information can do to it.

I have to say however that writing about your personal experiences, or personal stuffs about yourself is not wrong. This is of course assuming that your target readers are limited to your family, relatives and friends. Otherwise, you need to be very controversial or popular for people to be curious and become interested of your life.

How should you write your blog entries? Consider the Nature of your Blog Readers

If you are blogging for Investors then it’s perfectly fine to use terms such as Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Discounted Cash Flow etc. But if your blog is dedicated to the average Joe, there’s simply no need of using panoplies of multi-syllabic words and quintessential examples if you can decipher the intricacies of your thoughts into fundamental ideas that everybody can comprehend. In short, your objective as a blogger is to send the message across to your target blog readers. Failure to do so, is failed blogging.

There are several ways that bloggers write. Darren Rowse of Problogger.com writes short articles while Steve Pavlina of StevePavlina.com writes elaborate and long articles. Both of them are successful bloggers but their ways of blogging are different. What does this have to tell you about how to write blog posts? Simple. Writing for your blog should not necessarily be elaborate or short… the bottom line is Quality Information. My advice is write freely and objectively. If your topic calls for an elaborate writing, then elaborate is should be but if you don’t need too much words to make yourself clear and send your message across, then say it briefly.

In my succeeding articles, I will be writing about how to write search-engine-friendly blog posts. Your primary priority is to blog for your readers and second on the lists are search engines. I’m sure that you are aware that search engines (i.e. Google, MSN, Allthewebs, Lycos etc.) are great sources of traffic for your blog, hence, you should write your blog entries in such a way that it pleases these search engines. Watch out how in the coming posts.
